Predicting Unique Hope Trajectories in Adolescence

This study explored developmental trajectories of hope among middle and high school students. Gender and adverse childhood events (ACEs) were also examined as antecedents of hope trajectories. Group-based trajectory modeling supported unique trajectories of hopefulness among sixth and ninth grade students. ACEs uniquely predicted hope trajectories.
