Abstract

This study surveyed 97 psychologists about perceived versus actual statistical and research knowledge, application to clinical practice, and impact of theoretical orientation. No significant differences noted in statistical literacy nor theoretical orientation. Poor performance regarding statistical literacy was evident and reflected lack of maintaining a skill set in research methodology.
