Abstract
The degree pursued by a student (master’s vs doctorate) indicates differences in engineering identity (EI) recognition and interest sub-components in engineering graduate students (EGS). Multivariate linear regression indicated EGS with a dissertation/thesis topic have stronger performance/competence sub-component scores. Other research experiences did not predict EI sub-components.
