Perceptions of Maternal Support and How They Impact Daughters' PMS Symptoms

Abstract

This study's purpose is to examine daughter's perceptions of maternal support during child and adolescent development and whether it impacts their PMS symptoms. Participants were college students that partook in interviews. Initial themes identified during analysis were: attachment and maternal support, maternal emotions and coping methods, and self-judgement and moodiness.
