Abstract
We investigated whether job seekers would work for a company that uses greenwashing. Greenwashing is a marketing strategy to appear more environmentally friendly than one is. In an experimental online study (N=117), we found that people evaluated the job offer less favourably if the company had a negative environmental performance.
