Performance of Older Adults in Auditory Simon Task: Noise Vs. Silence

Abstract
We compared the performance of the older healthy adults in auditory Simon task with three trials (congruent, incongruent, neutral), in noise and silence. Significantly better performance was observed in noise than in silence for total (AR and RT), neutral (AR and RT), congruent (only RT), and in-congruent (only RT) trials.
