Abstract

The strategy used to process logical information influences reasoners' racism level. Participants (n=148) completed a study measuring their level of racism, need for closure and logical strategy. When controlling for their need for closure, statistical reasoners scored higher on racism (M=2.6) than counterexample reasoners (M=2,2) F= 5,03, P<,05.
