Abstract

This study examines Life Story interviews from 29, adult, Asian, transracial, international adoptees. Themes related to adoption, racial/cultural identity and belonging, and racism are examined. Themes that emerged from our data show that adoption and race are significant in the identities of our participants. Suggestions for adoption professionals are discussed.
