Abstract
We explored whether self-identified asexual adults differed in well-being compared to self-identified hetereosexual, gay, and bisexual adults. Asexual individuals scored lower than all other groups in self-acceptance, positive relations with others, and purpose in life. These results are preliminary and are in need of replication with a larger sample.
