Perceived Spiritual Significance of Dreams Predicts Beliefs in Responsibility for Dream Content

A correlational study found positive links between belief in the spiritual significance of dreams and views of blameworthiness for dream content. Agreeableness related positively, whereas extroversion related negatively, to the belief that people are culpable in their dreams. These results suggest that people perceive links between wakeful life and dreams.
