Alternative Approach to Response Surface Analysis Using Difference and Average Scores

Response surface analysis, which examines how much similarity and difference between two predictors matter, has received wide attention. The current paper proposes a way to reduce analysis steps for this approach – steps previously outlined by Shanock and colleagues (2010) – by using a difference and an average score.
