Secondary School Teachers’ Reservations Towards Internal Differentiation As a Measure to Promote Gifted Students

Abstract
This questionnaire study examined secondary school teachers’ (n=123) use of methods of internal differentiation in their lessons, especially with regard to gifted students. Results show that teachers mainly differentiate for low achieving students and that their actual knowledge on the needs of gifted students is low.
