Abstract
This investigation examined the factor structure of PTSD symptoms using the PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) in a high-risk community sample of men. Externalizing and Hybrid models fit best, however, modification indices suggested freeing covariance between items 5 and 3. Upon re-evaluation, the Hybrid model continued to fit best.
