Abstract

Academic entitlement, the tendency for a student to show a favorable disposition toward receiving high grades while expressing the belief that the responsibility needed toward achieving such goal lies with others, significantly predicted non-persistence intentions. This finding is instructive for psychosocial interventions designed to reduce attrition among diverse college students.
