Abstract

This study compares tenth grade American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) and non-AI/AN students. Our findings indicate that there was little difference between the phycological constructs of student acceptance, administration of authority, and teacher support for AI/AN students compared with other races. However, AI/AN students still underperform in math.
