Abstract

The relationship between intelligence and executive functioning (EF) among youth is investigated. Participants completed several cognitive assessments. Structural equation modeling revealed that the Slosson Intelligence Test predicted a latent variable compromised of measures of executive function. This finding helps clarify the ongoing debate on the relationship between intelligence and EF.
