Types of Moral Disengagement Most Influential with Mock Jurors

Research suggests that using moral disengagement strategies helps jurors distance themselves from a decision that would result in giving the death sentence. To our knowledge this is the first study to systematically alter actual trial transcripts to investigate which type of moral disengagement language is most influential.
