Classifying Spatial Competencies Based on Perceived Difficulty: Further Development of the Everyday Spatial Behavioral Questionnaire

Abstract

A principal component analysis was conducted on a new sample administered the Everyday Spatial Behavioral Questionnaire to identify spatial competencies based on perceived difficulty of everyday activities. With more restrictive screening for outliers and transformations of skewed items, we replicated several components and obtained promising results for confirmatory factor analysis.
