Abstract

A latent profile analyses in 901 youth revealed five groups based on parenting styles and child irritability. Two profiles showed high irritability as well as inconsistent and negative parenting. Of these two groups, only one reported angry mood between outbursts, low levels of positive involvement, supervision and positive discipline techniques.
