Abstract

We examined the relationship between hippocampal spatial pattern separation ability and daily physical activity in young adults, using wearable physical activity-tracking technology. The current findings revealed that higher levels of cumulative as well as average daily activity over 4 weeks are strongly associated with improved spatial pattern separation function.
