Abstract

We investigated children’s evaluations of social includers and excluders. In Study 1, 4-year-old children (n =32) who identified the includer as a better sharer evaluated excluders negatively while others did not. Study 2 (n =64) successfully replicated and extended these findings with 4- and 5-year-olds and included a memory check.
