Abstract

Benefit finding (BF) was used by ethnic/racial minority patients in cardiac rehabilitation (CR) significantly more than their majority counterparts. BF also positively predicted mental health-related quality of life at the beginning of CR and healthy food behaviors at the end of CR. Results suggest CR staff should encourage BF.
