Abstract
Music can induce relaxation and reduce anxiety or agitate and provoke negative emotions. The study tested the effect of calming and suspenseful music on physiological responses triggered by an immersive virtual reality scenario designed to induce fear. Results suggest that calm music can modulate stress responsivity during the VR experience.
