Abstract

The current study re-examined the relationship between causal uncertainty (CU) and the Big Five personality factors. Consistent with previous research, CU was positively correlated with negative emotionality; however, CU also was significantly and negatively correlated with extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and open-mindedness. Relationships with facet traits also were examined.
