Abstract

This study examines how receiving corporal punishment as a form of parental discipline, along with one’s own thoughts on using corporal punishment, relate to moral reasoning and empathy. Though not supported as a mediating variable, findings illustrate that thoughts on using corporal punishment impacts the effect of parental corporal punishment.
