Abstract

This study viewed the effect of acute stress and implementation intentions on prospective memory (PM; i.e. remembering to follow through with our future plans). Past studies of acute stress and PM have yielded mixed results. Therefore, the present study examined performance on both the PM and ongoing tasks.
