Abstract

The current study took a network analysis approach to identifying the most central symptoms of depression in a large (N=10,005) sample of college students. Results indicated that self-hatred, sadness, anhedonia, and pessimism were the most central symptoms. A network comparison analysis also revealed network structural differences between males and females.
