Abstract
We investigated employees’ physical activity and its subsequent impact on post-work recovery indicators. Seventy-one full-time working adults completed multiple daily surveys (end-of-workday, bedtime) while continuously wearing actigraph devices for five working days. Increased physical activity co-varied with greater end-of-workday positive affect which yielded greater vigor and decreased depletion at bedtime.
