Abstract

There are various known cognitive benefits of bilingualism which may be due in part to hemispheric specialization that occurs among bilinguals and their language practices. The present study investigates interrelations among demographic factors, codeswitching, and dichotic listening skills among individuals residing in the Rio Grande Valley located in south Texas.
