Abstract

Researchers conducted analyses of 19 qualitative interviews to investigate how women conceptualize side effects of breast cancer and diabetes treatment. Results suggest that women attribute more frequent and severe side effects to cancer than to diabetes. Additionally, women expressed more confusion about attributions of side effects from diabetes treatment.
