Abstract

A 2 (Intelligent Assistant: Available vs. Absent) x 2 (Time: Scarce vs. Abundant) experiment demonstrates that teams with an intelligent assistant had fewer interactions, lower creativity compared to teams without the device. Teams under time scarcity were also more likely to depend on the assistant (i.e., ask for help).
