Abstract

The present study explored how romantic partners’ personality traits influence eating behaviors and well-being. I predicted individuals with a highly Conscientiousness partner would report better well-being, a lower BMI, and less disordered eating. Results suggest a negative association between Partner’s Agreeableness and restrained eating, but a positive relationship with BMI.
