Abstract
Are angry men more persuasive than angry women? In an experiment (N = 501) we investigated how the advocate’s gender (woman vs. man), race (Black vs. White), emotion (angry vs. concerned), and issue topic (gender vs. racial inequality) interact to affect message evaluation, person perception, and collective action intention.
