Abstract

Two surveys (IT and UK) examined individuals’ perception of tax behavior and the normative relevance of paying taxes. We intend to compare the findings and hypothesis tests between the two contexts especially by focusing on perceived prevalence of tax evasion and perceived costs of tax evasion to the community.
