Neurocognitive Tutors: Using Neural Networks and EEG to Predict and Improve Math Skill
- Richard Prather

Abstract
We describe the development of a Neuro-Cognitive tutor. We use a neural network computational modeling to predict people's performance on a mathematical task. The model integrates electrophysiological and behavioral data using an evolutionary algorithm. We discuss how the model can predict behavior and how predictions inform individually customized math assessments.
