Abstract
College students predicted the winner of the 2016 presidential election prior to the election (i.e., foresight), or a week later (i.e., hindsight). The reverse hindsight bias emerged whereby Clinton’s victory was judged as more likely in hindsight; an effect that was largest for those scoring high on perspective taking.
