Effect of Social Power on the Judgement of Conviction Probability

Abstract

We investigated how social power influences peopl's judgements of conviction probability on crimes. The results show that the participants who were primed with the concept of social power(vs. powerless) made stereotypic judgements in spite of an opposite cue.
