Gender Differences in STEM Achievement Among Low-Income Ethnically Diverse Students in Elementary School

Abstract
We examined gender differences in the academic performance in STEM course grades and on math test scores in an ethnically and linguistically diverse sample in elementary school. Although no gender differences were found in science and math teacher-assigned course grades, there were significant differences in math test scores favoring males.
