Emotional Intelligence, Shyness, and Emotional Expression through Writing Among Human Service Students

Abstract

Shy individuals with markedly inhibited competencies and expressive vocabulary needed to convey emotions could become more socially confident and emotionally intelligent by identifying specific limitations and developing those skills. Results suggest that there are differences in emotional expression through writing facets between individuals’ shyness levels with emotional intelligence interaction.
