Abstract

This study found that greater psychological inflexibility and emotion regulation problems relate to more depressive, anxiety, and somatization symptoms for adults in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. There were significant gender differences in psychological inflexibility and emotion regulation problems, with women demonstrating significantly more psychological inflexibility and difficulty with emotion regulation.
