Abstract

We studied how six components of mindful self-care predicted perceived stress in college students. Results showed that mindful awareness predicted lower levels of perceived stress, whereas mindful relaxation associated with higher levels of perceived stress. No other components were significant predictors. Implications and future directions will be discussed.
