Just Do It...and It Too: Multitasking and Attention in Young Adult College Students

Abstract

We investigated relationships between subjective and objective measures of students’ multitasking and attention. Students who reported multitasking more had better objective multitasking abilities, as did those with better working memory. In an age when multitasking is common, both practice and good attentional skills may help young adults succeed in academics.
