Can Musical Mnemonics Enhance Source Memory?

Abstract

The present study investigated whether musical mnemonics could lead to better source memory in young adults. We found that participants had a greater source memory and increased confidence for novel lyrics studied with a sung recording compared to lyrics that had been heard with a spoken recording.
