Forced Connectivity: Environmental Choice and Potential Outcomes

This study examined the effects of environmental choice on emotional state and nature connectedness following exposure to a natural or built environment. Initial results indicate more positive affective responses and higher nature connectedness following exposure to natural environments particularly when participants are assigned to nature rather than choosing this environment.
