Abstract

Parallel forms of a heuristic task were developed to facilitate the behavioral assessment of effort at two time points. Until now, objective measures of effort have been limited to one trial assessment. These forms provide dependent measures that benefit treatment outcome studies in which effortful behavior is of central concern.
