Abstract

This study examined the associations between grandparent (G1) personality pathology and psychological problems in grandchildren (G3, two generations later). Results indicated that associations between G1 personality pathology and G3 psychological problems are largely driven by the relationship between internalizing personality pathology in G1 and externalizing problems in G3.
