Abstract

Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking-Figural (TTCT-F) and adaptive achievement tests (reading and math) were administered to 135 kindergarten and first grade students in the fall and spring. In general, TTCT-F subscales positively correlated with math and reading achievement, yet creativity was negatively correlated with academic growth.
