Abstract
The present study compared the dynamics of competition and cooperation in Caribbean and Latinx children accounting for the respective task and gender in each dyad. Culture, task, and gender played a role in children’s portrayal of cooperative and competitive behaviors. Task expectations were the same regardless of ethnicity and gender.
