Abstract

The present study sought to prioritize a set of genomic loci that could explain the genetic variance in nicotine consumption by leveraging transcriptomic data from model organisms. These prioritized genes accounted for a greater proportion of the total SNP heritability than expected by random selection of genes along the genome.
