Project Gen: Relationship between Emotion Regulation, Gender, and NSSI

Explored impact of emotion regulation on the relationship between gender and NSSI. 248 undergraduates completed a survey at a university. A hierarchical logistic regression yielded significance between gender, emotion regulation, and NSSI. Emotion regulation significantly affects the relationship between gender and NSSI; males are less likely to engage in NSSI.
